Areas of expertise include: geriatric, pulmonary, cardiac, mental health, wounds/ostomies, continence, wound vac, diabetes education and enteral therapy.

Goals are planned in collaboration with patient and their physician.
PHYSICAL THERAPY

Gait training with or without equipment.

Techniques to increase joint mobility.

Skilled Therapy for pain control.

Therapeutic exercise to increase overall strength, balance, and mobility.

Teach home exercise programs.

Assist post-hospitilization patients with function, mobility and safety in their homes.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Instruction for self care and safety in the home.

Teach muscle re-education and skills used for daily living.

Instruction in use of adaptive equipment.

Certified Lypmhedema Specialist.
SPEECH THERAPY

Identify and assess communication cognition and swallowing difficulties.

Teach exercises to improve verbal and non-verbal skills, increase swallowing and/or cognitive abilities.
SOCIAL SERVICES

Assist in locating resources for finances, food, transportation and medication.

Assist in obtaining alternative placement and respite care.

Spectrum Home Health established in 1993, is located in Wyandotte County with a satellite office in Missouri. Service area includes greater Kansas City and surrounding counties.
As a Medicare and Medicaid certified home health agency, Spectrum provides quality health care to residents in their homes.
Our professional staff includes Registered Nurses, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, Social Workers and Respiratory Therapists. Our delivery of home health care services is reimbursed by Medicare and most private insurance plans.
Qualified staff members are available to assist patients recovering from an injury or illness in the comfort of their own home.

To Qualify For Medical Coverage
If a patient's care is to be covered by Medicare the patient must:

Be under the care of a physician who will direct the home care plan.

Patient Must meet the Medicare homebound status criteria.

Need skilled nursing, physical, occupational, or speech therapy on an intermittent basis.
